1.鸟名。体较小﹐羽毛灰褐色﹐翅膀尖而长﹐四个脚趾都朝前生长。栖息在热带岛屿上﹐捕食小虫№部有很发达的黏液腺﹐所分泌的唾液在空气中凝成固体﹐是金丝燕筑巢的主要材料。所筑的巢就是食品中的燕窝。
